PLG News was the official news program from the Pupil Leadership Group, the former student council of Cardinal Wiseman Catholic School.
I was responsible for producing the pre-recorded bulletins and this included designing the brand and motion graphics from the programme's second year.

PLG News bulletins from the 2015/2016 academic year received a new graphics set with design language being derived from Cardinal Wiseman's branding from the time.

2014 Presentation
Upon taking over production responsibilities in 2014, I had introduced the first standardised graphics set for the news bulletins. This had included a title with a modified version of the iMovie theme, custom headlines bed music, and lower thirds.
Prior to that academic year, David Lowe and the BBC had granted permission to use the BBC News countdown music and headlines bed music (used in headlines for earlier bulletins).

These titles had taken the school's house colours and used an animate circle as a window to preview clips of the upcoming stories of each bulletin.
PLG News Countdowns
Upon aquiring permission to use select BBC News tracks, countdowns were used between 2013 and 2014 before every bulletin. This emulated the format originating from BBC News.
